At Garden Gate Property Management, we understand what it’s really like to be a landlord because we’ve been there ourselves. That’s why we started Garden Gate to give property owners a management company they can actually trust to handle it all.

We take care of everything: marketing your property, finding and screening tenants, preparing leases, collecting rent, coordinating maintenance, handling inspections, and keeping you updated every step of the way. Whether you own one rental home or a larger portfolio, our goal is to protect your investment, keep good tenants in place, and make sure you see steady income without the daily headaches.

Garden Gate was founded by Mahrukh Tariq, an award-winning real estate professional with over a decade of experience in Virginia. She’s closed more than $50 million in sales in just the past few years and is also a landlord herself, managing over 100 rental units including multi-family properties. Because of that, she knows first-hand the challenges landlords face and built Garden Gate to be the kind of management company she once wished she had.

Mahrukh Tariq is a seasoned real estate professional with over 10 years of experience and a top-ranked, highly awarded realtor affiliated with one of the nation’s leading brokerages. In just the last three years, she has sold over $50 million in real estate and continues to be recognized for her outstanding performance in the Virginia market.

Beyond her success in sales, Mahrukh is a dedicated investor and landlord managing a portfolio of 100+ rental units, including multi-family properties. This hands-on experience gives her a deep understanding of the challenges property owners face, from tenant management and maintenance to cash flow and long-term planning.

Driven by this insight, Mahrukh founded Garden Gate Property Management to offer the reliable, hands-on property management she once wished she had—helping other landlords protect their investments and enjoy stress-free ownership.

Rebekkah Gien Lamadrid

Rebekkah plays a key role in the daily operations of Garden Gate Property Management. She manages showings, assists with lease documentation, handles scheduling, and ensures all communication between tenants, owners, and vendors is timely and well-coordinated.


Her experience in real estate administration and client relations allows her to navigate complex tasks with efficiency and care. She is especially skilled in keeping processes organized and delivering quick, reliable responses to client needs.

Rebekkah is known for her professionalism, reliability, and commitment to client satisfaction. Her attention to detail and problem-solving mindset make her an essential part of the team and a valuable resource for both property owners and tenants.

Hyacinth Garcia

Client Support Coordinator

Aya serves as the first point of contact for many of our potential and current clients. She manages inbound and outbound communications, provides follow-up support, and coordinates scheduling to keep daily operations running smoothly and efficiently.

With her warm and approachable attitude, Aya makes every client feel heard, supported, and well-informed throughout the process. Her strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple tasks ensure that nothing falls through the cracks.
